We’ll be carrying out essential maintenance on the drinking water storage reservoir site in Liss as part of an ongoing programme to ensure we can continue to supply the community with top-quality drinking water.

What is going to happen and when?

We’ll be working within our Cathedral Pines drinking water storage reservoir site and plan to start on Monday, 25 November 2024. Our team will work as quickly as possible to complete this project.

Work will take place during normal working hours, although there will also be some activities at weekends.

We expect the work to take approximately 12 weeks. We will do our best to get the work done faster if we can.

How will this affect you?

The work will be taking place within our site, although there may be some noise and additional traffic in the area while we carry out this work.

Signage will be in place on the road for the duration of the work and parking near to the storage reservoir may be impacted.

We’re sorry for any disruption this work is going to cause – we know it’s inconvenient. We will do our absolute best to keep it to a minimum.

You will be able to get to and from your home or business during this work.

The work we’ll be doing

Our Cathedral Pines drinking water storage reservoir is used to store drinking water before it flows to your tap.

The reservoir is made up of two separate storage tanks and this project will mean we can take each one out of service, one after another, to complete our maintenance work without interrupting your water supply.

Want to know more?

If you would like to know more or have any questions before the work starts, please call us on 0333 000 0002. If you have questions while we are working on the reservoir, you can ask any of the team doing the work or give us a call if you prefer.

We’ll be regularly updating this page as the project progresses to keep you informed.

Thank you for your understanding while we improve the water supply for you and your neighbours.
